Boylston, MA Boylston, MA Full-time Full-time $60,000 - $80,000 a year $60,000 - $80,000 a year 13 days ago 13 days ago 13 days ago 12V INSTALLATION TECHICIAN EMERGENCY VEHICLE TECHNICIAN 12 VOLT AUTOMOTIVE INSTALLER/UPFITTER Technicians will be responsible for installing and repairing all types of equipment being installed into emergency vehicles.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Install low voltage equipment per customer and manufacturer specifications.
(for example:
2-way radios, sirens, interior and exterior lighting, etc.
) Installing large components into vehicles heavier than 50lbs.
(for example:
Prisoner cages, cargo vaults, etc.
) Review build documents and equipment installation manuals to ensure high quality and accuracy.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have experience in the automotive industry.
Have experience installing remote starters or vehicle audio.
Are highly motivated Have an eye for detail Enjoy working in fast paced work environment.
Requirements:
Experience in emergency vehicle installation is desired but not required.
Technicians are expected to provide tools.
Ability to work independently and on a team.
Ability to communicate well with management and coworkers.
Able to self-motivate.
Good project management to ensure productivity and quality.
Training will be available to the right candidates who show potential and enthusiasm to enter the Emergency Vehicle industry.
