Sr Application Development Analyst JOB LOCATION:
350 Campus Drive, Marlborough, MA 01752 DUTIES:
Responsible for the development and execution of Marketing and Membership directives and implementations across multiple platforms that include IBM z/OS mainframe, Linux Web and Application Servers, and Web Services deployed on AWS infrastructure.
Deliver business and IT requirements for large-scale and/or complex systems.
Work with a team of individual contributors and technical leads in a multi-disciplinary technology environment, in a matrix organization.
Ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of projects, products, and/or services to a broad base of business functions and business partners.
Responsible for working on cross-platform projects with internal team members, consultants, and off-shore suppliers.
Interact and coordinate the activities of outside vendors and suppliers.
Participate in, and execute Marketing & Membership programs that drives incremental traffic, sales, and membership fee income for BJ's.
Work with program and project managers and the Manager to create detailed project and resource plans to achieve planned objectives.
Provide input into the original forecasting for project estimation required for project approval and set goals and performance standards aligned with divisional objectives and directions.
Develop, implement, and measure operating standards, and ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and controls.
Develop, implement and serve as an internal subject matter expert on mainframe technologies COBOL, DB2, IMS DB, CICS, VSAM.
Responsible for technical operations, production and field support, and stabilization of applications and Marketing programs.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or foreign equivalent or related field, plus 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, Analyst, or related; 5 years of experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting mainframe application programs; 5 years with COBOL, DB2, IMS DB, CICS, VSAM, web services in CICS, SQL.
Experience may be gained concurrently Recommended Skills Cobol (Programming Language) Customer Information Control System (Cics) Electrical Engineering Forecasting Ibm Db2 Information Technology Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
